Cluster Biotechnology Opens new Labs at Cohort Innovation Space

The new headquarters and laboratories of the R&D company Cluster Biotechnology opened today at COHORT, in the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct.

Dr Gustavo De Cerqueira, CEO of Cluster Biotechnology said “having our headquarters at COHORT will allow us to work alongside and collaborate with other like-minded businesses in the Precinct.”

“Our new labs will provide us with opportunities for industry collaboration and help us grow, creating up to 40 new jobs in the next three years. Foodsan is currently undergoing trials in Norway, Ghana and soon India, and Australian innovation’s like Foodsan can help reduce economic and environmental impacts here and overseas, especially at a time like this when human health and food security matter the most”.

Cluster Biotechnology joins the recently opened Griffith Innovation Centre, IntelliHQ and other digital health professionals and start-up innovators.

In response to COVID-19, COHORT is rolling out a suite of business support services, such as a free COVID-19 business strategy session, mentor sessions and a business webinar series.  In addition to these business support services, COHORT is also delivering rent relief for small business owners, sole traders and start-ups within their co-working community.

The new headquarters and laboratories of R&D company Cluster Biotechnology opened today at COHORT, at Lumina in the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct.
