2021 LuminaX HealthTech Accelerator Founder of the Year!

NEWS - 26 Jul 2021

LuminaX founder of the year goes to Hearoes

The in-person program was held by Cohort Innovation Space within Lumina, the Queensland Government’s 9.5-hectare development dedicated to growing the life sciences, health and technology-related businesses within the Gold Coast Health and Knowledge Precinct.

The LuminaX accelerator program started on 6 April 2021 and concluded on Thursday 22 July on demo night, where participants pitched to angel investors to net much-needed funding to bring to market and grow their HealthTech businesses. Demo night marked the official graduation of the LuminaX 2021 program start-ups.

Hats off to all participants, in taking part of 14-week accelerator program, and a huge congratulations to Elliot Miller, co-founder of Hearoes who has taken out the LuminaX founder of the year. Elliot Miller said he was eager to be part of a program that provided invaluable access to industry-leading experts, exposure to investors, and collaborative workshopping opportunities with other start-up founders.

“Being part of this accelerator program has been incredible in understanding the different stages and elements of growing a start-up business, from government regulations to customer insights and artificial intelligence, there is a strong focus on helping us thrive,” Mr Miller said.

Applications for LuminaX’s second cohort will open in January 2022, stay in touch with us and subscribe here
